ILAUD is pleased to publish this small volume
to celebrate Tunney F. Lee’s life and his many
contributions to the fields of education and
environmental design. It is the fruit of a joint
effort by a group of longtime collaborators that
includes a biographical overview, samples of
Tunney’s writings, and discussions of selected
research projects and professional contributions.
It is hoped that this book will inspire future
generations of students and professionals to
consider his humanistic approach and to even
continue some of his ongoing work.
